Billions of years ago, our inter-galactic creators set about like gardeners, spreading the seeds of life throughout the universe. As different life took hold, the gardeners monitored progress and selectively eliminated those species that did not prove worthy of ascension. The human race was deemed a failure, but before destruction, the gardeners decided to give a select few a second chance. You find yourself among the few and have been placed in regenerative stasis.
